Daniel Nestor 2000 Sydney Olympic Game Gold Medal Signed Racquet
While working as VP and General Manager for DAVE(Dome Audio Video and Effects) which was a division of Dome Productions/TSN/Netstar, I got invited to a lot of events which was a little deviation from the sports events I normally attended. This was a dinner to raise money for Bereaved Families, and there was a lot of music and entertainment memorabilia in the silent auction. I did notice a game used tennis racquet that Daniel Nester used to win the Gold Medal at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and it was signed as such. To my amazement, I was the only bidder on this only sports item as most of the attendees were bidding on the music items. That was a nice addition to my tennis collection.
