3 Foot Martin Brodeur Bobblehead.
It was early in my 3 foot bobblehead collecting and I was told that Martin Brodeur was doing a signing at Frozen Pond the next week. I knew it was going to be an insane crowd and I had a couple of pieces I wanted him to sign including my 2004 NHL awards print.
I went into Frozen Pond and made a deal with them. They were selling the 3 ft. Martin Brodeur Bobblehead and I asked if I purchased it, could the bobblehead be at the front of the line the night before so when I showed 30 minutes in advance, I can take the bobbleheads place. They put the 3 foot bobblehead in front of the line with a note “first in line”.
I had the chance to meet Martin Brodeur and he pointed out the number of the bobblehead was 1 of 100 which he seemed to be quite jealous of as I assume #1 is usually offered to the player. I offered to trade with him but he was ok with me having it. I had him sign on the base as well as the chest.
