Accreditation Frames from the 1992 and 1993 Blue Jays World Series
Working at Dome Productions at the time and TSN being our sister company, I had the opportunity to become part of the crew for not only the World Series and All-Star Game in 1991 but many other events such as the Vanier Cup and World Basketball Championships in 1994.
After ensuring my financial responsibilities were taken care of, I would go to our production team which was usually the Host Broadcaster for the event and asked to volunteer for positions so I can me close to the event, saving them money and providing a service. I did everything that did not require a lot of prior technical training from Parobolic Mic for the Vanier Cup to sitting just to the right of home plate in the stands aiming the Ray Speed Gun at the ball after it left the pitcher’s hand. This would give the commentators the information they needed to talk about the throwing velocity of each pitch.
