George St. Pierre Signed Glove  

While employed at Sportsnet we were having a guest George St. Pierre at Sportsnet for an interview. I thought it would be great to get his autograph on an official fighting glove.

I knew the MMA was not that big yet as say a hockey or baseball player so it would be no big deal to ask one of the producers if it was ok.

You have to understand we have a lot of women who worked at Sportsnet with the traffic department and had no interest in sports. They just did the scheduling of the television shows and made sure to insert the commercial in the correct shows.

To my amazement I was told they needed to send a note to all staff not to rush George as all the young ladies were all very aware of George and all printed out a color photo to get signed.

I ran across the street to Sport Chek to buy an authentic pair of gloves and left it with Kathy who said she would do it for me. She got it for me and I did owe her a Montana’s lunch
