Ron Ellis 200th Goal Stick and 2010 Olympic Torch
I do not usually buy signed memorabilia at the SportsCard Expo but met a nice family who were selling off a lot of their father's collection due to an illness and downsizing from a house to a condominium. After a number of visits to see all the unique items they had, it turned out we were distantly related and I went to University with his brother-in-law who provided many of these items to him as gifts. I couldn’t resist the actual Ron Ellis stick that he scored his 200th goal with. Later met with and told Ron I had the stick and told me he did donate it to an auction and was thrilled I have it in my collection. I believe the Hall will want this stick soon.
I bought quite a number of items from this family and one of my favorites is the 2010 Olympic Torch.
