1967 Mini-Stanley Cup Signed by Conn Smythe Winner David Keon
The first public event that Dave Keon attended related to the Maple Leaf’s was an event honoring the legendary Johnny Bower, He was at the table right behind me. I had asked the Host of the event if I could ask Keon to sign my 1967 Mini Replica Stanley Cup. She said as long as he was ok with it.
I went and introduced myself to him and his son and asked if her would sign the 1967 Stanley Cup as he was the Conn Smythe Winner that year. He was very accommodating and signed and included the inscription 1967 Conn Smythe Winner. Definitely a true gentleman.
